PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
This tour involves little physical activity outside of our daily walking tours. We will do our best to accommodate all physical needs, however, please ensure that you are physically able to participate in those activities without complaint, if not then this may not be the best trip for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Missing a vacation is bad enough. Losing the money you paid for your vacation is even worse. Trip insurance is therefore highly recommended. Your premium is related to your trip cost, so you don’t have to worry about being over-insured. Our suggested Travel Insurance providers are outlined below:
Payments & Payment Plans
All payments to Adventure in Black are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because Adventure in Black has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines, and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This way we can keep our package prices low and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation.
Should you opt-in to our payment plan program, your invoice will clearly note your due dates and amount. We suggest you put this payment plan on your personal calendar.
A $75 late fee will be applied to all payments made after the 3-day grace period. Your trip is subject to cancellation after two missed payments.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
As of May 1, 2022, visitors to Colombia ages 18 or older must provide proof of complete vaccination for entry or a negative COVID test (48 hours in advance of travel for an antigen test or 72 hours in advance of travel for a PCR test).
Travelers should be prepared to show their original, physical vaccination card or digital certificate both at airline check-in and when passing through Colombian Immigration.
The vaccination document must include the individual’s full name, date of vaccination, name of the vaccine administered, and the number of doses administered.
A photo of one’s vaccination card may not be accepted. If you completed your vaccination scheme within 14 days before entry to Colombia you will also need to have an antigen test 48 hours prior to arrival or a PCR test 72 hours prior to arrival in Colombia.
PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE
Travelers must complete Migración Colombia’s online Check-Mig form within 72 hours of boarding an inbound or outbound flight from Colombia.

FLIGHT
Book roundtrip flights to Rafael Núñez International Airport (CTG) and plan to arrive by 5:00 p.m local time. Some people may choose to arrive a day earlier to combat jet lag! If you’re one of those people, just shoot us an email at info@adventureinblack.com so that we can arrange additional accommodations for you!
MONEY/CURRENCY
Colombia utilizes the Colombian Peso as its currency. Please bring cash with you, most places only take cash, some places do take cards, however, to use your card you will need to set travel notices with your bank account and also know that you may be charged an international transaction fee for every card purchase. We recommend you bring cash and exchange it upon arrival.
NOTES:
Traveling abroad requires a passport valid for six months beyond your travel dates. In order to participate in this experience, you must have a valid passport with an expiration date no SOONER than October 30, 2023.
