TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Missing a vacation is bad enough. Losing the money you paid for your vacation is even worse. Trip insurance is therefore highly recommended. Your premium is related to your trip cost, so you don’t have to worry about being over-insured. We recommend the Travel Insurance providers outlined below:
Payments & Payment Plans:
All payments to Adventure in Black are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because Adventure in Black has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines, and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This way we can keep our package prices low and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation.
Should you opt-in to our payment plan program, your invoice will clearly note your due dates and amount. We suggest you put this payment plan on your personal calendar.
A $75 late fee will be applied to all payments made after the 3-day grace period. Your trip is subject to cancellation after two missed payments.

International flights to and from Punta Cana International Airport in Dominican Republic (PUJ)
Travel Insurance (Cancel for Any Reason Insurance is HIGHLY Suggested).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
US Travelers entering the Dominican Republic are no longer required to produce vaccination certificates or recent negative PCR tests.
If you are not a US citizen, please check your entry requirements to the DR here.
Flights
Book your flight to and from Punta Cana International Airport in the Dominican Republic as early as possible (we recommend 6 months prior to departure). Please make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond the date of your entry into the Dominican Republic. Please plan to arrive by no later than 3:30 PM on October 10, 2024.
You will book your departure flight from Punta Cana International (PUJ) at any time after 9:00 AM on October 14, 2024 - Please note, hotel checkout is at 11:00 AM Local Time.
Money / Currency
Dominican Republic utilizes the Dominican Pesos (DOP) as its currency but they also accept US Dollars. Many places do not accept credit cards, please bring cash for tips, restaurant expenses, and souvenir shopping. Upon arrival, you can change your USD to local currency (DOP) at the Airport. You can also withdraw money from the ATM but beware that ALL ATMs charge a 45.54 DOP (~$2.50 USD) withdrawal fee every time you withdraw money.
Notes
Traveling abroad requires a passport valid for six months beyond your travel dates. In order to participate in this experience, you must have a valid passport with an expiration date no SOONER than March 1, 2025.
